Privacy Policy
Scope
One World Balance is an informational campaign website. It does not offer user accounts, comments, or subscriptions through the website. The website includes an online campaign contribution form that is available only when the campaign system confirms that online contribution intake is open.
Information processed automatically
When you visit the site, infrastructure providers may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This may include your Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, security signals, and diagnostic logs. Cloudflare provides website delivery, security, and network services.
Cookies and analytics
One World Balance may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, traffic sources, and website performance. Cloudflare states that this service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. One World Balance does not intentionally install advertising cookies or use analytics for cross-site behavioral tracking. Infrastructure providers may also use technologies necessary for security, traffic management, and service operation.
Email communications
If you contact One World Balance by email, we receive the address you use, your message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. Email and infrastructure providers may process that information to deliver, store, and secure the communication.
Payments and political contributions
When you use the online contribution form, the campaign collects the contribution amount, election designation, full legal name, email address, mailing address, occupation, employment status, employer information when applicable, and the contributor certifications submitted with the form. The campaign validates and records this information before opening Stripe Checkout.
Payment-card details are entered on a Stripe-hosted Checkout page rather than on OneWorldBalance.com. One World Balance does not directly collect or store full payment-card numbers in its campaign database. The contributor email is provided to Stripe to prefill Checkout. Stripe processes payment information, while the campaign receives and stores transaction identifiers, payment status, fees, and related accounting and reconciliation information.
How information is used
Information may be used to operate and secure the site, process and administer campaign contributions, evaluate contribution eligibility and compliance, maintain contribution-limit and election-designation records, provide contribution confirmations and receipts, handle refunds or disputes, perform accounting and reconciliation, prevent fraud or abuse, respond to communications, diagnose technical problems, comply with campaign-finance reporting and recordkeeping duties, and maintain audit and security records.
Sharing, sale, and targeted advertising
One World Balance does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising. Information may be processed by service providers that support website delivery and security, database and infrastructure operations, email, and payment processing, including Cloudflare and Stripe. Contributor information may also be disclosed in campaign-finance reports or to government authorities when required by law.
Retention and security
Campaign contribution, contributor, compliance, accounting, audit, and related records may be retained for as long as required or reasonably necessary for campaign-finance recordkeeping and reporting, accounting, security, fraud prevention, refunds or disputes, audits, and other legal or operational obligations. Other information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. No system can guarantee absolute security, but access restrictions, service-provider controls, and technical safeguards are used to protect the information handled by the site and campaign systems.
Children
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. One World Balance does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. As a campaign acceptance policy, online campaign contributions are accepted only from individuals who are at least 18 years old.
International visitors
Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where service providers operate. Privacy rights and protections may differ by jurisdiction.
